The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings has long been an important part of the music of Marc Gunn and the Brobdingnagian Bards. The Bards recorded their first album in 2003. They performed at an Oscar Party for Return of the King when the film swept the Oscar Awards. In 2011, Marc Gunn released his first solo CD of hobbit music. Now The Hobbit movie is due out at the end of the year.
